PGK1 and PGK2 mRNA levels in human cancer tissues and matched normal tissues. The data of PGK1 (a) and PGK2 (b) mRNA levels in human tumors and paired normal tissues were obtained from TCGA RNA-Seq datasets as log RSEM values (see “Materials and methods” section) and plotted. The fold changes of median PGK1 mRNA level in tumors compared to that in normal controls in four cancer types are provided. Significant changes in median PGK1 mRNA level between tumors and normal controls are marked with asterisks (*P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001, independent variable t test).
