Average levels of ASPP1, ASPP2, and P53 expression in unpaired ESCC and noncancerous tissues. The cases with insufficient tissue for immunohistochemical staining were excluded from relevant analysis. Average level of ASPP1 expression is not significantly different between ESCC and noncancerous tissues (P = 0.904). Average levels of both ASPP2 and P53 expression are significantly higher in ESCCs than in noncancerous tissues (both P < 0.001).
